&#60;p&#62;JOB DESCRIPTION&#60;br /&#62;
Developer 1 is an entry level position for software development.   The main goal for this employee is to become proficient with development tools and environments.   It is also important that the employee shows a willingness to gain an understanding and integrate themselves into the CAPSHER culture.   This position is given ample tolerance to allow the person to fully integrate into the world of software development.  They will participate as a member of an in-house development team.  A member of the team will be assigned as their immediate supervisor.  The work load will consist of clearly defined tasks.   Tasks are given with explicit instructions or pseudo code necessitating little to no creative involvement in its implementation.  This employee is responsible for the implementation of the most elemental components of the work break down.   Their ability to code efficiently and effectively is essential for the progress of the project.&#60;br /&#62;
You will likely write in C++ or C#.  Any programming language is acceptable to apply.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;QUALIFICATIONS&#60;br /&#62;
- Attained a 4 year Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering, or commensurate experience&#60;br /&#62;
- 0 - 2 years directly relevant experience.&#60;br /&#62;
- Reliable, hard worker who seeks challenges.&#60;br /&#62;
- Ability to clearly express ideas verbally and graphically.&#60;br /&#62;
- Proficient at developing with C++ or C#.  Additional programming languages are a plus.&#60;br /&#62;
- Skilled problem solver.&#60;br /&#62;
- Must bring in a portfolio showing at least one application you assisted in building.&#60;br /&#62;
- Possess a valid Texas Class C driver’s license.&#60;br /&#62;
- Able to perform physical demands including: using computer equipment in an office setting, occasionally lifting and moving objects up to 40 pounds.&#60;br /&#62;
- Must be able to work in the US for any employer.&#60;br /&#62;

<description>&#60;p&#62;The College of Architecture at Texas A&#38;#38;M University is seeking a strong-willed graduate or undergraduate student for a software developer position that is immediately available. The College is undergoing some significant change, some of which includes significant restructuring of the IT infrastructure within the College. This is a great opportunity to get in the change process from the ground-up and help make the College of Architecture at Texas A&#38;#38;M University become even more recognized as one of the premiere architecture colleges in the nation. &#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Job Description: This individual will assist the Director of Web Infrastructure with developing and planning new&#60;br /&#62;
applications to be used by the College of Architecture. Tasks include being a part of the full&#60;br /&#62;
software development life cycle, from requirements analysis to implementation all the way to&#60;br /&#62;
completion.  Additionally, this individual will help maintain existing applications by ful?lling&#60;br /&#62;
enhancement requests or providing recommendations to help improve existing applications.&#60;br /&#62;
Documentation of new and legacy systems (including but not limited to application&#60;br /&#62;
architecture and system requirements) required. Work will be done in a fast-paced (agile)&#60;br /&#62;

&#60;p&#62;Quali?cations: Pro?ciency in XHTML and CSS required. Pro?ciency in software development using either&#60;br /&#62;

the .Net Framework, Ruby on Rails, or the Zend Framework a plus. Experience with&#60;br /&#62;
